Youth in Development and Inclusion involved in numerous projects.
In Zone 3 of the Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, Yumbe District, Uganda, Youth in Development and Inclusion is actively implementing key community programs aimed at improving the well-being and resilience of refugees and host communities. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by displaced populations, our initiatives focus on raising awareness about Gender-Based Violence (GBV), empowering local farmers, promoting hygiene and sanitation, and facilitating education on deadly diseases such as Monkeypox and Ebola.
Through targeted interventions, we equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to build safer, healthier, and more sustainable communities. By engaging youth, women, local leaders, and other stakeholders, we foster a culture of inclusion, empowerment, and collective action to address critical social, economic, and health challenges. Our efforts in Zone 3 aim to enhance community resilience, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to thrive despite the hardships of displacement.

Education Programs on Deadliest Diseases
Youth in Development and Inclusion is committed to safeguarding communities by providing education on life-threatening diseases such as Monkeypox, Ebola, and other infectious outbreaks. Through awareness campaigns, workshops, and community outreach programs, we equip individuals with critical knowledge on disease prevention, symptoms, transmission, and response strategies. Our initiatives emphasize early detection, proper hygiene practices, and the importance of vaccination and medical intervention. By working closely with health professionals, local leaders, and schools, we ensure that accurate and life-saving information reaches vulnerable populations, reducing the risk of outbreaks and promoting public health resilience.

Promoting Hygiene and Sanitation
Youth in Development and Inclusion is dedicated to improving public health by promoting hygiene and sanitation practices in communities. Through educational programs, awareness campaigns, and hands-on initiatives, we empower individuals with the knowledge and resources to maintain clean and healthy environments. Our efforts focus on access to clean water, proper waste management, and personal hygiene, particularly in schools and underserved areas. By collaborating with local authorities and organizations, we advocate for sustainable sanitation solutions that enhance overall well-being and prevent the spread of diseases.

Empowering local farmers
Youth in Development and Inclusion supports local farmers by providing them with the knowledge, resources, and skills needed to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability. Through training programs, access to modern farming techniques, and connections to markets, we empower farmers to improve their livelihoods and contribute to food security. Our initiatives focus on sustainable farming practices, climate resilience, and financial literacy to ensure long-term success. By fostering collaboration among farmers, agribusiness experts, and policymakers, we create opportunities for growth, innovation, and economic independence within local farming communities.

Awareness about Gender based Violence
Youth in Development and Inclusion is committed to raising awareness about Gender-Based Violence (GBV) to foster a safer and more inclusive society. Our service focuses on educating communities, particularly young people, about the different forms of GBV, its causes, and its impact on individuals and society. Through workshops, advocacy campaigns, and community dialogues, we empower individuals with knowledge on prevention, response mechanisms, and available support systems. By engaging key stakeholders, including schools, local leaders, and social institutions, we strive to create a culture of respect, equality, and zero tolerance for GBV.
